Tom and I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area enjoying its rich cultural diversity and great educational opportunities. Just nine months after our wedding, we moved to Hawai`i where we lived for the next 35 years. There we raised two sons on our hillside farm, Waimiha Nursery and Landscaping. Tom's green thumb created a beautiful, colorful sight, full of tropical plants, flowers and rare palms. Always work to do, it was a good environment to raise our boys.

 

Additionally, as Founders, Directors and Teachers of the Aloha School of Hanalei, we stayed busy supporting the community and being a part of the Aloha Spirit found on the Island of Kaua`i. The Aloha School is still in operation today and ran by our colleagues and friends that helped us to get started so many years ago. Our philosophy then and now is, "It's the relationship that counts."

 

While on vacationing in Sedona in 1984, we were captured by the Red Rocks and returned many times with our family over the next 20 years until we were finally able to call Arizona home. Like many of our clients who have moved to the Verde Valley, we are grateful every day to live in this special, magical place. Hidden treasures are around every corner and the people friendly and peaceful. It is the perfect place to improve one's health and well-being.

 

Now with 23 years of Real Estate experience, I am enjoying the opportunities that Realty One Group Mountain Desert in Sedona provides me. I have had a wide variety of successful transactions, from homes and vacant land in Jerome, to cabins in Oak Creek Canyon, to luxury homes in Sedona, to horse property in Cornville and to new and resale homes at Verde Santa Fe.

 

I have been lucky for the privilege of living here for nearly 20 years and can't wait to show you the sweeping vistas and the big splash of color in the sunrises and sunsets. It is just a zip from here to many restaurants, hikes, cultural activities, shopping and entertainment. The Grand Canyon is just a day trip away!
